RenderDoc before 1.27 allows local privilege escalation via a symlink attack. Both of these are typically world-writable, and thus (for example) an attacker can modify imapsync's cache and overwrite files belonging to the user who runs it. Imapsync through 2.229 uses predictable paths under /tmp and /var/tmp in its default mode of operation. The web interface on multiple Samsung Harman AMX N-Series devices allows directory listing for the /tmp/ directory, without authentication, exposing sensitive information such as the command history and screenshot of the file being processed.
OPNsense before 23.7 was discovered to contain insecure permissions in the directory /tmp.
